We are more than excited for our newest addition to our Associates programs - LEVEL UP is an exclusive elite dance program for COMMERCIAL dance!
Benefit from highly effective dance training and industry insights with York Dance Company director Sibylle Kockjeu, LEVEL UP Co-director Joe Dubas and outstanding guest teachers and choreographers from the industry!
This elite dance program is designed for:

dance college graduates that trained mainly in ballet, jazz, contemporary but would like to add Commercial styles to their repertoire

Dancers who want more Commercial training as an add-on to their current dance education
-
professionally trained dancers that are looking for an intensive Commercial dance training
-
Any dancers that would like to level up!

Founder
This Dance Program is designed by York Dance Company Director Sibylle Kockjeu who is passionate about nurturing talent and creating a dance space that is encouraging, supportive and empowering, allowing a dancer's love and passion for dance to flourish!
Sibylle has taught, coached and mentored performers, actors, singers and professional dancers throughout her professional career, spanning more than two decades.
Her dance students have gained places at some of the world's leading and best schools including IWANSON in Munich, Germany; SEAD in Salzburg, Austria; the BROADWAY DANCE CENTRE in New York and MILLENIUM DANCE COMPLEX in Los Angeles.
Some of Sibylle's ex students now work as choreographers, professional dancers and dance teachers globally.
Dates
Our Associates sessions are held on the first or second Sunday of the month for 5 consecutive months.

Audition: FREE
York Dance Associates Program:
5 Sunday training sessions
£160
Current Associates that would like to additionally join the Commercial Dance Program receive 10% off the full price.
Applying
Applicants must have the following to be considered for the York Dance Associates program:

Experience and aptitude in dance with at least four years of experience in dance (no need for experience in Commercial)

You must be at least 12 years old
Places are allocated by AUDITION only, so it gives the opportunity for gifted students to train alongside like-skilled students who share a similar passion for dance and performing.
AUDITION DATE:
Sunday 3rd December, 2:30 pm - 4 pm
